Why a Kemayoran table.
Kemayoran used to be Jakarta's first airport, and you can still read it in the map: Jl. Benyamin Sueb (named for the comedian) runs wide and straight where the runway was, and JIExpo fills the old airfield, taking over every mid-year when the Jakarta Fair (PRJ) moves in. Around all of that, apartment towers have gone up fast.
The towers filled with people who moved in for the central commute; the neighbours part never got organised. That is the part we do.

A Kemayoran table tends to land around Jl. Benyamin Sueb or the streets off it: a kopi place with a long table, a local kitchen that does not rush you. We suggest the spot via Google Maps, the five of you confirm it, and we never book it or take venue money.

I live in a Kemayoran tower and know exactly nobody. Is that normal?
