NORTH JAKARTA · A WEEKLY TABLE OF FIVE · FRIENDSHIP-FIRST
Ancol is where Jakarta goes to have fun, which is exactly why living there can feel like hosting a party you were not invited to. A weekly table of five fixes the Tuesday, not just the Sunday.
What is Hey Sini?
Hey Sini
nounHey Sini is a weekly social club for making friends as an adult in Jakarta. It seats five compatible people near each other at the same table, on the same night, every week for six weeks, and then the table becomes theirs. It is friendship-first, not a dating app, and it opens neighbourhood by neighbourhood, starting around Senopati.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Why a Ancol table.
Ancol is the city's day off: Dufan, Sea World, the beach promenade, the marina and the Pasar Seni art market, all inside Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. Behind the gates, Pademangan and the apartment blocks hold the people who actually live where Jakarta comes to play.
Living next to everyone else's weekend is strangely lonely on a Tuesday. A standing table gives the neighbourhood its own night.
WHO IT IS FOR
Made for Ancol, specifically.
- People in the Ancol and Pademangan blocks who know the crowds, not the neighbours
- Workers along the north coast side of the city
- Anyone who has watched a hundred Ancol sunsets solo
HOW IT WORKS HERE
One match, then the same five, every week.
- Getting there
- The KRL stops at Stasiun Ancol on the Tanjung Priok line, and TransJakarta corridor 5 runs all the way to the gates.
- The rhythm
- Five compatible people near you, the same night, every week for six weeks. We re-seat you if it is not right.
- The cost
- Free to join. A founding seat is Rp 49rb/mo, locked for life. You pay your own bill at the table.
An Ancol table tends to land where the neighbourhood eats rather than where the tourists queue: a seafood place near the water, a long kopi table in Pademangan. We suggest the spot via Google Maps, the five of you confirm it, and we never book it or take venue money.
ANCOL QUESTIONS
Before you sit down.
Do Ancol tables meet inside the park?
Not usually: the park charges a gate, and the point is a weekly habit, not a day out. Tables land at everyday eateries around Ancol and Pademangan, somewhere all five of you can reach every week without planning a holiday.
