Palmerah station is one of the busiest on the Rangkasbitung line, and the neighbourhood tips out of it: Pasar Palmerah across the road, the Kompas Gramedia offices on Jl. Palmerah Selatan and Jl. Palmerah Barat, kaki lima and kost streets in every direction. Cross the tracks east and you are at Senayan and the GBK complex.
It is a place people pour through twice a day. Staying put in it one evening a week, with the same four faces, is the whole trick.

Can I join a Palmerah table if I commute in from Serpong or Bintaro?
Yes, that is the line's whole gift: the table can sit on your way home. But if most of your evenings end further out, consider picking BSD or Bintaro as your area instead. A table you can walk home from is the easiest one to keep.
