Make friends inGandaria.

Gandaria is the in-between neighbourhood everyone passes through: Gandaria City on one side, the old Kebayoran streets on the other. Passing through is the problem. A table that repeats every week is how you finally stop.

What is Hey Sini?

Hey Sini

noun

Hey Sini is a weekly social club for making friends as an adult in Jakarta. It seats five compatible people near each other at the same table, on the same night, every week for six weeks, and then the table becomes theirs. It is friendship-first, not a dating app, and it opens neighbourhood by neighbourhood, starting around Senopati.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Why a Gandaria table.

Gandaria City (Gancit) is the obvious landmark, planted on Jl. Sultan Iskandar Muda where the Arteri traffic never really stops. The neighbourhood's real texture is behind it: quieter Gandaria and Kebayoran Baru streets, Pasar Mayestik not far off with its fabric floors and street food, and enough small restaurants to never repeat one.

It is a neighbourhood of people mid-move: first apartments near the mall, family homes on the old streets, offices in the Gandaria 8 tower. The KRL's Kebayoran station is a short ride away and Blok M's MRT and TransJakarta hub sit one neighbourhood east, so a weekly Gandaria table catches people from every direction.

WHO IT IS FOR

Made for Gandaria, specifically.

  • People whose first apartment is within walking distance of Gancit
  • Gandaria 8 office workers whose social life still lives in another neighbourhood
  • Anyone who grew up on the Kebayoran side and wants new faces nearby
  • Remote workers who have done every cafe in the mall solo
  • People who keep saying yes to plans in Senopati and wish something was closer

HOW IT WORKS HERE

One match, then the same five, every week.

Getting there
The KRL's Kebayoran station is a short ride away, Blok M's MRT and TransJakarta hub sit one neighbourhood east, and Jl. Sultan Iskandar Muda (the Arteri) runs straight through.
The rhythm
Five compatible people near you, the same night, every week for six weeks. We re-seat you if it is not right.
The cost
Free to join. A founding seat is Rp 49rb/mo, locked for life. You pay your own bill at the table.

A Gandaria table lands either inside the Gancit orbit or on the quieter eating streets toward Kebayoran Baru: somewhere five people can hear each other. We suggest the spot via Google Maps, the five of you confirm it, and we never book the venue or take venue money.

GANDARIA QUESTIONS

Before you sit down.

Is a mall a strange place for a standing table?

Not in Jakarta. Half the city's social life runs through malls, and Gancit has more long tables than most streets. If your five would rather sit street-side toward Kebayoran Baru, you confirm that instead: we suggest the spot, the table decides.

I sit between Gandaria, Blok M and Senopati. Which area do I pick?

Whichever you can reach on a weeknight without negotiating with the macet. The pockets have soft edges and we seat you with people genuinely near you, so answering Gandaria still lands you a table you can keep.
