EAST JAKARTA · A WEEKLY TABLE OF FIVE · FRIENDSHIP-FIRST
Rawamangun hands you a campus, a velodrome and thousands of people your age, then leaves the actual friendships to luck. A standing weekly table takes the luck out of it.
What is Hey Sini?
Hey Sini
nounHey Sini is a weekly social club for making friends as an adult in Jakarta. It seats five compatible people near each other at the same table, on the same night, every week for six weeks, and then the table becomes theirs. It is friendship-first, not a dating app, and it opens neighbourhood by neighbourhood, starting around Senopati.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Why a Rawamangun table.
Rawamangun is East Jakarta's student quarter with a sports habit: Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) sits just off Jl. Pemuda, the Jakarta International Velodrome gleams nearby, and the golf course keeps a green lung in the middle. Off the main road, the warung streets run late and cheap.
Students, first-jobbers and lifelong locals share the same streets, which makes a table of strangers less strange here than most places.
WHO IT IS FOR
Made for Rawamangun, specifically.
- UNJ students whose campus friends vanish every semester break
- First-jobbers renting a kos off Jl. Pemuda
- East-siders tired of crossing the city for a social life
HOW IT WORKS HERE
One match, then the same five, every week.
- Getting there
- LRT Jakarta ends at Velodrome station on Jl. Pemuda, and TransJakarta runs the same road toward Pulogadung and the city.
- The rhythm
- Five compatible people near you, the same night, every week for six weeks. We re-seat you if it is not right.
- The cost
- Free to join. A founding seat is Rp 49rb/mo, locked for life. You pay your own bill at the table.
A Rawamangun table lands just off Jl. Pemuda or in the warung streets behind campus: somewhere cheap enough for a student and good enough for everyone. We suggest the spot via Google Maps, the five of you confirm it, and we never book it or take venue money.
RAWAMANGUN QUESTIONS
Before you sit down.
Is Hey Sini good for UNJ students?
Very: a Rawamangun table sits a short walk or one LRT stop from campus, and you are seated with people nearby on a night you can keep around classes. Free to join; founding dues hold the seat once you want the same table weekly.
